Dr. Dipika Patel is a graduate of the Dr. William M. School College of Podiatric Medicine in Chicago, and completed a three year surgical residency program at the Jesse Brown Veterans Hospital. Dr. Patel has trained in all types of foot and ankle surgery, including ankle fractures, arthroscopic foot and ankle surgeries, diabetic foot reconstruction with external fixation, and limb salvage wound clinics. As a resident, Dr. Patel lectured and trained nurses in wound care. She received the Gold Stickel Award, the highest honor given to a podiatry resident in the area of podiatric medicine and surgery research. She has co-authored several articles in medical journals and texts on foot and ankle surgery. Dr. Patel has lectured nationally and internationally on foot and ankle topics. Dr. Patel also received overseas training from Germany and England. She is fluent in three languages. Dr. Patel has recently taken over Dr. Martin's practice and is committed to providing the same great service to his patients.
